Michael Jason Muñoz was born in West Covina, California and raised as a second generation Mexican-American in the City of Azusa. 

 

Michael attended private catholic school and graduated from Damien High School in the City of La Verne. After graduating, Michael accepted a scholarship at the University of Oregon, where he played football as a walk-on for the Pac-10 “Oregon Ducks.” Later that year, his team made it to the Holiday Bowl, where they won the pac-10 conference. 

 

The following year, Michael gave up his passion for football, and transferred to the University of California, Riverside to focus on his education and help his mother manage the family Bail Bonds Company. 

 

In 2004, Michael graduated from University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. During his time working for the family business, Michael began to develop a passion for criminal defense and decided to further his education by attending California Southern Law School in the City of Riverside. 

 

In 2008, Michael graduated from California Southern Law School with a Juris Doctorate Degree. In 2009, Michael passed the California Bar Exam and was sworn in as an Attorney to practice law in the State of California. He immediately opened up his own Criminal Defense Law firm, in the City of Azusa. 

 

In 2012, Michael decided to expand his business by offering Personal Injury Services. Currently, Michael works alongside his older brother Ralph Muñoz, Sister-in-law Nancy Muñoz. Today, Michael is the co-founder of Muñoz~Muñoz, Attorneys at law, which is a family owned business. The firm offers professional office location, in the City of Azusa.

 

Michael hopes to continue to help people in the community with his professional legal advice and representation. In his spare time, he enjoys going to football games,  boxing events spending time with his family and hiking.
