Crystal Ellis was born and raised in the city of Glendora, California. She attended Azusa Pacific University where she graduated with a bachelor of arts in Broadcast Journalism. During her time at APU, Crystal was a writer and video editor for “The Clause Newspaper,” and a Lead Officer for the Latin American Student Association.

 

During her time in college and law school, Crystal participated in local pageants in order to win scholarship money to further her legal education.  In total, Crystal won 6 pageant titles, including Miss Azusa 2009 and Miss California Latina 2012.

 

Shortly after college graduation, Crystal began working for K-ABC7, one of Los Angeles’ largest television news networks.  Crystal attended law school along with holding her position with K-ABC7 at Glendale University College of Law. Crystal also served as a law clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, participating in numerous criminal cases involving domestic violence, narcotics offenses, and violent crime in order to help families obtain justice for their loved ones.  Following her internship, Crystal began work at the firm of Munoz~Munoz and Ellis and was employed as a case manager until finishing her legal education.  Crystal ultimately became a member of the California State Bar in 2019.

The focus of Crystal's practice is in the area of personal injury law, trusts and estates, and criminal defense.  As to personal injury cases, Crystal has represented numerous plaintiffs who sustained injuries due to the fault and negligence of others.  Crystal draws upon her experience as both an intern at the prosecutor's office and her work as a case manager to make sure that people who suffered injury ultimately receive justice.  She has aggressively litigated cases against various cities and counties, when their employees were in the wrong, and has won cases against large corporations and individual defendants alike.  Crystal routinely appears in both state and federal court on personal injury and criminal defense matters.  

Crystal Ellis was recently named Best Accident Attorney and Best Living Trust Attorney by the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.  Crystal is also a licensed real estate agent and regularly represents both buyers and sellers in real estate transactions.  

 

During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, scuba diving, playing the piano and traveling the world with her husband, daughter and her two dogs, Sandy and Gizmo.
